They’ve toured with My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit and Lostprophets, but now it’s time for Merthyr Tydfils The Blackout to have top billing with a headline tour which sees them showcase tracks from their third studio album ‘Hope’( alongside their classic tracks of course). Our music reporter Sophie Eggleton headed to Liverpool’s 02 Academy to chat to singer Sean Smith about funding the new record and life on the road….amongst some other more random topics….
Hope was released on April 4th but if you want to get a taster before purchasing check out the video for single ‘Higher and Higher’ featuring Hyro da Hero who is supporting the guys alongside US band The Swellers on this tour.
