Culture Most Wanted.
Roll Up, roll up, it’s going to be a busy weekend Christmas shopping. But what to get the art lover or culture vulture in your life without paying for it until summer 2012? An original from Debut Contemporary of course.
The contemporary art collective are, for this weekend only, offering shoppers and art lovers original, framed, postcard-sized work from their stable of artists including Tahnee Lonsdale and Ryan Noble for £99.
Proceeds from sales will help fund London Calling, an exhibition for Debut artists at the Orange County Centre for Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
Plus, if you’re buying for that arty someone, there may be a gift in it for you too. As well as yummy, freshly baked cookies by Otto, local businesses including Carluccio’s, Bo Concept, Aveda and Aspace have donated seasonal surprises to go along with selected artworks.
